Jo stared her creative journey playing loud punk music and DJ’ing even louder techno across Scotland. As a DIY artist, Jo has always been involved in the the art that accompanies her music, from making flyers for gigs to art-work for singles.

Having always played with photography, art and writing, in 2020 Jo started working on the Minerva Wakes project which pushed these boundaries, adding a multi-art aspect to her music. Since then she has been exploring adding an audio-visual aspect to all her music. She has also been developing her work as a writer as a writer, especially in poetry and spoken word which has led to being published a number of times since 2020.
